What credit cards do you accept as a booking guarantee?
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, EuroCard, JCB and American Express.

Why do I need to give my credit card details?
Ahotel Hotel Ljubljana requests credit card details to confirm your reservation with the hotel. Your credit card will be pre-authorised to ensure that it is valid and/or that sufficient funds are available. After check-in, the full amount will be available to you again. The hotel will only charge your credit card if you have requested a prepaid room or if the cancellation policy conditions have not been observed.

Is my credit card information safe?
Yes. We take security measures very seriously. To ensure your security, our partner Vertical Booking uses a secure server which encrypts the credit card number and encodes it into a non-usable form.

I do not have a credit card. How can I make a reservation?
If you do not have your own credit card or company credit card, please e-mail us at and we will arrange for you to pay via bank transfer or try to find another suitable solution.

Can I cancel or change my reservation free of charge?
Reservations can be changed or cancelled free of charge unless you have chosen a prepaid price for the room with a non-refundable booking. Cancellation terms are as indicated when you made your reservation and in your booking confirmation. For bookings at special rates, different cancellation terms may apply. Do I have to pay for my accommodation when confirming the booking?
No, your credit card number is used only to guarantee your reservation. It will not be debited before your arrival. The payment will be made at the hotel, except in the case of a prepaid reservation.

How can I pay for accommodation at Ahotel?
When you check out of the hotel, we will be happy to accept your payment in cash or by V-pay, debit card (BA, Maestro,) or the following credit cards: Visa, EuroCard, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club or JCB. If you have chosen a prepaid reservation, your card is automatically debited when the booking is confirmed.

Can I pay with a different card from the one used as a booking guarantee?
Yes, you can pay with any other card or with cash.

What does “non-refundable” mean?
This means that the credit card used when making the reservation will be charged the amount of your reservation. Changes or cancellations are not exempt from charges.

Can I book discounted, special, corporate or group rates online?
Discounted, special, corporate and group rates are available online. For rates that you qualify for, you can enter your special code or customer code in the appropriate box on the reservation form.
